Terms of Service
1.Who we are
Breadboard Studio is run by Cohen Michael Gleason Stewart, a sole proprietor in Wichita, Kansas, USA, doing business as Breadboard Studio ("we", "us"). These terms are an agreement between you and us about using the Breadboard Studio website and workflow builder (the "Service"). Creating an account asks you to agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy. By doing that, or by otherwise using the Service, you agree to them. If you use it for a company, you agree on that company's behalf.
2.What the Service does
Breadboard Studio lets you build workflows by wiring parts together on a board. Workflows can call web APIs and AI models that you choose, using keys you supply.
You need an account to use the builder. Your account details are kept on our servers. The builder itself runs in your web browser: your workflows, run history and keys are saved on your device, and your browser sends requests straight to the services your workflows call. Scheduled workflows run only while the builder is open in a browser tab.
3.Your account and eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent where you live, to create an account or use the Service.
- Use an email address you control, and give accurate details.
- Keep your password private. Tell us at breadboardstudio@gmail.com straight away if you think someone else has used your account.
- You are responsible for everything done under your account.
- You can ask us to delete your account at any time by emailing breadboardstudio@gmail.com from its address.
4.Your keys and third-party services
You choose which outside services ("Third-Party Services") your workflows connect to, such as AI providers or data APIs, and you supply your own keys for them.
- Your use of each Third-Party Service is governed by its own terms and pricing. You are responsible for any charges they bill you, including usage your workflows create.
- Keep your keys safe. Anyone with access to your browser profile can use keys saved there.
- We are not responsible for Third-Party Services, their availability, or what they do with data you send them.
5.Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- break the law or the rights of others, including privacy and intellectual property rights;
- send spam, run scams or phishing, or distribute malware;
- attack, overload or scan systems you do not have permission to test;
- get around usage limits, or copy, resell or reverse engineer the Service except where the law allows it;
- break the terms of any Third-Party Service your workflows use.
We may suspend access that breaks these rules or puts other people at risk.
6.AI output and automated decisions
AI models can be wrong, incomplete or inconsistent. Check AI output before you rely on it, and keep a person involved in decisions that matter. You are responsible for what your workflows do, including messages they send and actions they take on your behalf.
7.Not financial, legal or professional advice
Some examples, such as market alerts, involve financial data. Breadboard Studio is a software tool. Nothing in the Service, its templates or its AI output is financial, investment, tax, legal or other professional advice. Trading and investing involve risk of loss. Make your own decisions, and consult a qualified professional where appropriate.
8.Your content
You own the workflows, data and prompts you create or bring ("Your Content"). While the Service stores Your Content only in your browser, we do not receive it. When features that store Your Content on our servers launch, you give us permission to host, copy and process it only as needed to run the Service for you.
If you send us feedback or ideas, we may use them without owing you anything.
9.Our property
The Service, including its design, code, name and logo, belongs to us or our licensors. These terms do not give you any right to our trademarks.
10.Plans, billing and cancellation
Paid plans and their prices are shown on the pricing page. Checkout is not open yet, so we do not charge anyone today, and nothing will be charged until you choose a plan and agree to its price. When checkout opens:
- Subscriptions renew automatically each month or year until you cancel. You can cancel at any time, and access continues to the end of the paid period.
- Prices and plan limits are shown on the pricing page. We will give at least [30] days' notice before changing the price of an existing subscription.
- Payments are handled by our payment provider, [PAYMENT PROVIDER, e.g. Stripe]. Fees are non-refundable except where the law requires, or where we say otherwise.
- Waitlist discounts apply as described when you joined, for as long as your subscription stays active.
11.Availability and changes
We are building the Service in the open and it will change. We may add, change or remove features, and we do not promise it will always be available or free of errors. We will give reasonable notice before removing a feature that paid subscribers rely on.
12.Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
13.Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim about the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or [US$100].
Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.
14.Indemnity
If someone makes a claim against us because of Your Content, your workflows or your breach of these terms, you agree to cover our reasonable losses and costs, including legal fees.
15.Ending these terms
You can stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms or if we stop offering the Service. Sections that by their nature should continue, such as ownership, disclaimers and limits of liability, continue after that.
16.Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Kansas, USA, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Disputes will be handled in the courts of Sedgwick County, Kansas (which includes Wichita), unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim locally.
17.Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top, and for significant changes we will tell account holders by email or in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the new terms.
